  •  Nick-O Sewing Machine Company offers a variety of machines to make and manufacture belt loops. There are several different types of belt loops and different ways you can go about making them.
  •  The most common is the bottom cover stitch. This is done on a flatbed bottom cover stitch machine. You can either have the material cut to size and add a folder to the front of the machine or you can purchase a machine that has a front cutter on it that will trim the excess material before it goes into the folder. These are more commonly found on jeans, overalls and some dress pants. (Picture of a cover stitch style belt loop)
  •  The other type of belt loop is done with a blind stitch machine. This can be done either of 2 ways. Basically the same as above but behind the machine is a puller and iron to help pull the material through and flatten it after it is sewed. This type dress loop is most commonly found on nice dress pants or slacks. (Picture of a blind stitch style belt loop)
